Naoshi Komi is best known as the creator of Nisekoi (2011–2016), one of the most popular romance series in Weekly Shōnen Jump history. With its fake-relationship premise and ensemble cast of love interests, Nisekoi became a defining rom-com of its era and received a successful anime adaptation. Before Nisekoi, Komi serialized Double Arts (2008), a short-lived fantasy series that earned him recognition within Jump.
