What you will find
Weekly Shōnen Jump is the manga magazine Shueisha has published in Japan since 1968, where Dragon Ball, One Piece and Naruto were born. Besides your birthday issue you can open this week's Jump, browse every cover in the timeline, the great debuts, the TOC ranking or its history, decade by decade.
Two dates for every issue
Every issue has an on-sale date, when it reaches the newsstands, and a cover date, about two weeks later, that tells shops until when to sell it. AnniversaryJump searches by the on-sale date, so your result is what was really on the newsstand the day you were born.

If ComicVine has no on-sale date for an issue, it is worked out as the cover date minus 13 days.
